Crystal Cove Historic Beach Cottages
A beach blast from the past….
Built as a seaside colony in the 1930’s and 1940’s, the Crystal Cove Historic Beach Cottages endure as a magical escape for visitors who appreciate the opportunity to experience California’s natural and architectural beauty, untouched by time. The 46 original California beach cottages were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as surviving examples of early Vernacular architecture. The cottages were carefully restored by the Crystal Cove Alliance (in conjunction with the California Department of Parks and Recreation) and may now be rented out on a daily basis.
